Off Grid,
On point.
Jump on board and cut the cord.
Off-grid means taking control of your power.
Complete independence and security.
To be crystal clear: Off grid means having no physical connection to mains power.
With the right design, it feels exactly the same as being grid-connected… Except without the bills!
With the wrong design however… Well let’s just say we’ve also seen and heard more than our fair share of horror stories.
Off grid system design requires a proper understanding of consumption projections, specific brands, components, software and firmware settings, as well as things you don’t typically find in residential solar, like auto-start generators.
And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
We can handle the whole system end to end; panels, inverters, batteries, generators, so it works as one coherent setup. Or, if you already have a few pieces of the puzzle, help you to complete the vision.
Our job is to make the complex feel effortless, so you get the freedom without the faff.

Our approach to off grid:
Step 1: Make it make sense
Before we get stuck into the nitty-gritty, let’s make sure going completely off-grid is the best choice for you.
We can help you to weigh up the pros and cons, so you have a clear picture of all of your options.
Step 3: Design & selection
This is a collaborative process, wherein we start fine-tuning the system design, selecting which brands to use, where things like inverters and generators are going to be installed, how it’s going to look aesthetically, and any other considerations or alterations you might want to explore.
Once we have arrived at the perfect solution, we move onto:
Step 2: Build load profile
Building a load profile is a crucial step for off grid system design.
Put simply, it involves listing all the electrical appliances in the property, how often and when you want to use them, then crunching the numbers to figure out the appropriate number of panels, battery storage capacity, and backup generator requirements.
Step 4: Implementation
In accordance with your timeline, we schedule the delivery of components, the installation team, lodge all the paperwork for rebates & approval and finally, install your off grid system.
For us, the job doesn’t end once we’ve packed up, said goodbye and driven off - every off-grid project is the start of a relationship, and our ongoing responsibility to make sure you’re taken care of that day, the next, and for years to come.
