About Project 300

Feeling a good energy?

More isn’t always better.

Project 300 was built around a simple idea: do fewer jobs, and do them properly.

So we made ourselves a promise — no more than 300 installations per year.

That limit means we don’t need to rush jobs through, hand customers from salesperson to salesperson, or disappear once the installation is finished.

It means we can take the time to understand how you actually use energy, design a system around your home or business, and remain available long after the installers have packed up.

One person. The whole way through.

From your first conversation to system design, installation, commissioning and ongoing support, you’ll have one dedicated person looking after you.

No sales department.

No call-center merry-go-round.

No explaining your situation to a different person every time you call.

Just someone who knows you, knows your system, and knows what you’re trying to achieve.

We’re not here to sell you the biggest system we can.

Solar and batteries have become surprisingly complicated.

There are thousands of combinations of panels, inverters and batteries. Electricity tariffs are constantly changing. Rebates change. Regulations change. And two households with identical electricity bills can need completely different systems.

Our job is to absorb that complexity, not pass it on to you.

We work out what makes sense, explain the important bits in plain English, and give you a system designed around the outcome you actually want — whether that’s lower bills, energy independence, blackout protection, going off-grid, or simply making a sensible long-term investment.

300 is enough.

We could aim for 1,000 installations a year. Hell, there are companies who 300 a MONTH.

We could build a bigger sales team, open expensive offices, add layers of management and spend a fortune on advertising.

We’d rather not.

By keeping Project 300 deliberately lean, our overheads stay low — and so do our prices.

That means we can offer genuinely sharp pricing without finding savings in the one place they shouldn’t be found: the quality of the installation.

We’d rather spend money on good equipment, experienced installers and doing the job properly than on the machinery required to run a giant solar company.

Three hundred installations allows us to remain small enough to provide genuinely personal service, while still having the buying power, installer network and experience to compete aggressively on price.

And it means that when you call us in five or ten years, we intend to still be here — and to know exactly who you are.

That’s the point of Project 300.

Fewer customers. Lower overheads. Better installations. Better aftercare.

Everybody wins.
